This year's racing season started with the WSK Champions Cup for Tamás Gender Junior. A total of 230 competitors from all continents of the world started this weekend at the Circuito South Garda Karting to show their skills on the track for the first time in 2024. In rainy weather on Wednesday and in variable weather conditions during Thursday's tests, 66 competitors started in the Hungarian go-kart driver’s category in Lonato. After the long preparation period Tamás Gender Junior is looking forward to the qualifyings and races of the weekend motivated leaning on the experiences of the tests, especially after last year's success at the WSK Champions Cup, where he overtook 14 competitors to reach the finals.
