Tamás Gender Junior makes his debut in his new team, the Energy Corse, in the fourth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series. The Hungarian driver will also have to deal with the fact that he is competing in Cremona for the first time.
After several weeks of preparation including testing, physical and mental training, and of course, school, Tamás Gender Junior returned to racing. He will compete in the fourth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series in Cremona. The track is located about 50 km north of Parma, and approximately 300 karting driver will compete during the weekend, making it a full house.
We will see Tamás Gender Junior competing in the OK Junior category, for the first time in Cremona, where he already tested last week. „I got to know my new team in a few days, the atmosphere is really great, and I managed to fit in and enjoy our teamwork,” summarized the HUMDA supported athlete. „The testing helped me to get to know the track, but I still have things to learn this weekend, as you cannot simulate starts and race situations during testing.”
The fact that Martin Molnár, who competes in the OK category, has been the member of the Energy Corse team for the second year, makes the young athlete's integration easier. "Martin and I have known each other for a long time and we are good friends, so of course it made the change easier to have him here. I enjoy working together with the new team and my new coach. We will see what we are capable of on our first race weekend.”
The substantive part of the WSK Super Master Series' final round begins on Friday, 28 April, with the time practice, followed by heats on Friday and Saturday, and the Prefinal and Final on Sunday.
