Tamás Gender Junior competed in several qualifying heats to get into the TOP5

Over the weekend, Tamás Gender Junior competed in several qualifying heats to get into the TOP5 in the 3rd round of the WSK Super Master Series, and then headed to Spain. On the Franciacorta Karting Track in Italy, the driver of the Hungarian Motorsport Academy held a stable place in the TOP 10 until the last day of the race. A total of 98 competitors competed for the championship title in the OKJ category of the gigantic field of 408 drivers. The round started very well for the Hungarian go-kart driver, as he finished in 7th place in the qualifying, even though he had to overtake on the fast lap, and these two tenths were all he missed to start from pole position the next day. Even so, he overtook several previously successful competitors in his category. In the first three heats, the team was looking for the right settings. In the last two heats, the technical background was completed, the pace was set, and so the checkered flag waved for him in 6th place in the first one, and 8th place in the second one. Thus, he was able to enter the semi-finals from 17th place. After the start, the line fell apart, so he started the race falling back to 23rd place. However, thanks to his technical racing, the fans could see Tamás Gender Junior racing in 15th place a few laps later. The only thing that could stop the young sports talent of the HMA Academy's youth training system from achieving his goals this weekend was that in the 10th lap, while overtaking, the right rear wheel of his go-kart collided with the go-kart behind him, and the frame of his racing machine bent because of the crash. Thus, the competition ended for him from a promising position for the Final. The racing season will soon resume for Tamás Gender Junior, who traveled to Spain to spend the next few days in Valencia preparing for the European Season. The Hungarian Motorsport Academy youth training system was created and is operated by HUMDA Hungarian Mobility Development Agency Zrt., which belongs to the Széchenyi University Group.
