Tamás Gender Junior competes on a challenging track in the Czech Republic

This weekend, Tamás Gender Junior will compete in the second round of this year's Champions of the Future Euro Series at Steelring in Trinec.

After Italy, Tamás Gender Junior will race in the Czech Republic this weekend. The athlete, who completed his first weekend in Cremona with his new team, Energy Corse, will take to the track in Trinec from 4-6 May for the second round of this year's Champions of the Future Euro Series.

The HUMDA-supported athlete has a very tight schedule, as he returned from the final round of the WSK Super Master Series on Monday and already travelled to the Czech Republic on Tuesday,to the relatively unknown Steelring International Circuit, where, as the name suggests, you need to be in steely form to do well.

"This will be my first race in Trinec, although I have already tested here for a few days. The track has 22 corners, it's a very technical and physically demanding track so I'm looking forward to see how I can deal with it. Not only that, but the weather will also be a challenge for the field, as the weather is expected to be very changeable, so we will probably have to drive on a dry, wet and drying track. We are working hard with the team to do our best and fingers crossed for the weekend,”said the Energy Corse driver.

The schedule of the second round of the Champions of the Future Euro Series is different from the usual one, as the main part of the weekend starts on Thursday, with the Prefinal and Final rounds taking place on Saturday instead of Sunday.

With 99 entries in the OK Junior category, there is an incredibly large field for this weekend, which means that the Heats will be separated into six groups.
